Long. I applied for the role in early July and only got a denial in September after several spaced out interviews. The hiring manager and team loved me But they didn’t have the person i would report to roles filled. Finally in late August i got a call to schedule with the Sr. Director of total rewards who was just hired. I thought to myself this would be a breeze. Im fully capable and experienced and have what they’re looking for. Everyone prior to this has been lovely. However she was rude from the start. After my very to the point about me she said “ok so actually tell me about yourself.” ??? She wasn’t personable at all. You’d think someone who had been out of work themselves and just hired would have been somewhat kind but she was just rude. I answered all of her questions and then some but for whatever reason i wasn’t enough. For about 3 months they wasted my time. She was probably the most rude person I’ve ever interviewed with. But the disrespect in posting a role when you didn’t even have the person they reported to available and than stringing you along for 3.5 months was worse
