Networking mostly via word of mouth, seemed like interview was more of a formality compared to review of CV. Interview with department chair and immediate supervisor. Requested three references and they did check the references.

The interview process seemed fairly standard. The questions were reasonable, and I got to meet with a good number of people of various roles at various hospitals. Seemed like a reasonable opportunity.
