I got a call from a consultancy mentioning for a telephonic round from US client. In the telephonic interview, there was one person from US and another from Singapore. Asked everything from Java memory management, Core Java, multithreading, Database, Spring, Unix, whereas the project was only about JMS and messaging system. It went for an hour. Next day I get to know that they have given a strong feedback and the arranged a second round supposedly with a Director. When I reached the next day, I get to see a Tech lead and a BA as the interview panel. They asked about my current project, couple of technical questions and some behavioral. After that the HR person told me to wait and asked me to fill up some documents for my details and for background verification. Couple of days later I got to know, that I was not shortlisted. It's a complete waste of time as they themselves do not know what they want and what project they are hiring for. Better to avoid.

The interview was good. But when I mailed them after my second round of interview which was good, I got the reply as my candidature is on hold. I was really sad. I had a good hope on it. I really want to work in UBS bank.
