I met with the recruiter first and then a second-round interview with the department head. Both were lovely people and I had great conversations each time. They did a great job explaining the position and the intensive training process that it would require.

Simple. They asked what experience I had in the field, my academic history, my WPM, and some personality questions. It was super quick and easy without being uncomfortably fast and sketchy.

Entrevista
The interview process was two steps, first with an HR representative then with your would-be manager. I found it to be succinct and efficient; the former was conducted telephonically and the latter via Zoom.
