It been a long process. 8 months so far. I am waiting on the next step. Its a process that should be given lots of time. I just passed the polygraph portion. A tip for the polygraph: follow the agents instructions. The machines there to fail you but the agents there to help you pass. I figured he knew more about that machine than I did so he would get me through it and i did.

They purposefully try to give you a hard time and fluster you so you have difficulty keeping your composure and answering the questions. Very vague questions and experience overall. Virtual interviews are uncomfortable.

Pre-employment phase is long. Lots of questionnaires to fill out and assessments. You watch a few videos to guide you. Overall I think it’s something I want to get into because my main goal is to become an immigration services officer

May be due to COVID, but after completing the interview, medical, and PFT 1 I haven’t heard anything. I reached out and was told that things are backed up. It has been about 10 months since I applied.
