1. HR interview: purely a screening process 2. Associate / VP Interviews (2): expect light technicals, although they might throw you a curveball question (see below) 3. MD / Partner Interviews (2): 100% cultural fit

The first stage was very relaxed and mostly served as an opportunity to get to know the interviewer. The second stage was a bit more involved, and I met with three different members of the team. The final round was much more intense. I was invited to the office in person, and interestingly, another candidate was being interviewed in the room next to me on the same day. That round was filled with technical questions that were not especially difficult but felt very random and caught me off guard. One interviewer asked about lease liabilities on the balance sheet, and another asked me to do a back of the envelope buyout calculation in my head on the spot. Maybe I was unprepared, but based on the earlier rounds, I expected the final interview to be less technical.
