Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en Tyler Technologies (Denver, CO) en feb 2019
Entrevista
Two interviews to being eliminated;
Phone screen by HR then web meeting with hiring manager. HR contacted me after the initial phone screen via email and asked if I would be available for a "quick call" with the hiring manager, which I agreed to. Less than an hour before the phone call was scheduled, I received an email from HR asking if I had a computer with a web cam because the hiring manager wanted to do a web meeting instead. I replied that I did and would be delighted to do web meeting.

Web meeting with hiring manager was not a "quick call" but rather an hour of an exercise that they described to be the "Analytical portion" of interview process . Absolutely no time was spent on discussing the position, my credentials, or even the standard business courtesy of spending a few minutes to become acquainted. Interviewer asked ONLY the 2 following questions;
1.) There are 9 coins. 8 are authentic and one is not. The fake coin weighs more than the authentic coins. Using a balance scale, how would you weigh the coins to determine which is the fake coin in as few attempts as possible, because each attempt will cost you a thousand dollars?
** As I made the attempts to "weigh" the coins to determine the answer, the interviewer documented it by typing out the equation I used. We went through the exercise until I found the method in which to weigh the coins and find the fake coin in just 2 attempts using the scale.
2.) There's 2 doors. One door is the door to freedom and the other is the door to prison. There is a guard in front of each door. One guard ALWAYS tells the truth and the other one ALWAYS lies. What is the one question that you would ask BOTH of them to determine which door to choose to get to freedom?
** Each time that I crafted a question, the interviewer would type into a grid that they had on the screen whether the question would achieve the answer.
Interviewed recruiter, hiring manager, and another manager from a different group. All seemed positive until they went silent. When I followed up was told the position is on hold. I hate wasting my time with companies like this.
