Had a 1:1 screening with a senior manager and was asked back for a second interview. Prior to the second interview, I was given a take home challenge to be completed prior to the follow up. The take home challenge is really up to you how easy or hard you want to make it for yourself.
The second interview was comprised of a 30 minute review of the technical submission, a 30 minute live coding challenge, and a 30 minute behavioural section.
I was told I would hear back within 24-48 hours, but it took about a week to get the results.
I was not given an offer, which is fine, I recognize that I may not have been a candidate to their standards, however what made the overall experience negative, was the fact that the only feedback I received was that I was "sloppy" in my take home challenge.
I should mention that I welcome any constructive critisim that people may have regarding my coding, etc, however I would argue that being called "sloppy" is not a very constructive way to help me improve at all.
Advice to interviewers providing feedback: Personally, I would've enjoyed literally any positive feedback about things that were liked during my interview. Also, sorry for being a broken record but some actual constructive feedback would be nice.
