There is a comprehensive exam to determine the technical skills/familiarity with college essay writing. Then there was a virtual synchronous mock interview with a mentor (an experienced tutor). The first part of the interview was to look over a sample essay and interact with the mentor as though they were the student. Then afterward there was a discussion of virtual classroom policies.
