I've interviewed with truecar twice for marketing roles. The first time, they reached out and left a voice mail to schedule a call. I called and emailed back, and they went dark. Recently I interviewed again. After weeks of back and forth with the recruiter, we finally spoke. Essentially she would ask for my availability, id reply and then she would never reply and a week later ask for new availability. Then we finally spoke and she set me up to talk to the hiring manager. After chatting with him, they had mentioned they would like to bring me on site. Weeks go by, again without word from recruiting. Finally they get back to me saying the role is on hold. The role is then reposted on LinkedIn and then when I ask if its back open, they say it will be pushed to Q4. Two experiences with truecar, both negative.
