I interviewed with the CTO. It was a completely disorienting experience. It was unlike any interview I've ever experienced before. It was a relentless interrogation. I was asked toward the beginning of the interview why I was leaving my current role and my answer I gave was that I wasn't set up for success by my current employer and there was little to no opportunity for that reality to change. Almost the entire rest of the interview was a needling interrogation about my potential fault in that matter and virtually no conversation about my achievements and qualifications. A brutal interrogation about how I, as an IC, was presumed to be at fault for my current company's leadership problems lets me know all I need to know about how leadership will treat ICs at Treasure Financial.

I had my interview set up through a recruiter. The people I communicated with at Treasure Financial were very flexible and understanding of my time and availability. I had a first round interview with the CTO to speak about my qualifications and show some of my recent work.
