I had two interviews. One phone interview with the DM that went really well. And then a second interview with a VP that was miserable. It was a 15 minute phone conversation, and the entire time I felt like every answer he was just waiting to tell me why i was wrong. Even commenting about how the end of my work day was far from the end of his work day(we are in different time zones, so yes I would imagine so). I felt an overwhelming negative vibe from him, and immediately knew that this position or company would not be a good fit for me. I was so put off that i actually wrote the DM declining any further movement in my interview process, to which i received a "we aren't moving forward with you" email. I was shocked that there was no follow up or question why i was declining, as that is usually not how it works. The general communication style, and lack of organization, and then demeaning tone are not a welcoming environment. And would not have worked out.
