I was referred at a corporate function, by someone who works there, and urged to apply. It's three interviews, the last being with the director. NB: There is NO diversity in the Atlanta office. My interviews are going glowingly well; However, at some point with the Director (final interview) I realize there was an awkward hesitance but no clear work-competency question was posed. I humbly inquired as to what reservations could be had about my competency and got pried about my relatively "hard" undergrad degrees. I was then asked about my prospective job satisfaction and told about the position, again. It was reiterated to me that entertaining clients would be a thing, which went without saying, but it was clear something was being left out. Seeing as my experience, smarts, multiculturalism & ability to speak three languages, personality, and credentials were lauded with the FOUR previous people - this struck me as odd. Asking if I can keep a client entertained over and over, in slightly different ways, if I was ready to work late or overtime? Strange. As a clearly unwed, non-parenting, single transplant in a new city, what else would I do when you know I live 5mins away from here? I'm about the same age as a lot of the reps or young staff I saw on my way in, but I gathered that this is a immediately post-undergrad, college recruiting company and they pay like it.
Caucasian, Blonde/dirty Blonde-Brunette hair and female - which the entire floor looked like, is their preference.
