I applied online and after a month I was contacted by HR. It was a standard HR screening then a writing assignment once I passed the writing assignment I was asked to come into the office for an in-person interviews. I was scheduled to have 2 rounds of interviews with 2 people in each round, which was fine. Then they throw in an extra round with a person I wasn't told I'd meet with regarding a different position I never applied for or showed interest in. After that they ask me to come in a couple of days later for another round of interviewing with 2 different people. I was asked pretty much the same questions every round and after interviewing with 8 different people I was told I wasn't offered the position because my background didn't align closely enough with the role. I had to interview with 8 different people for them to come to that conclusion, completely inappropriate.
A phone screening with HR and a test after. A test consisted of copy editing and formatting which is not exactly the main project coordinator activities so it seemed odd that they are treated as a prerequisite for getting a job.
First call with HR, then with Dept Manager, then in-person interview with hiring managers. The whole process was quick, hiring managers were lovely and the questions were aligned with the role. Interview with Detp Manager was easy.
