Entrevista
I came to apply to my local store in the beginning of June 2020. Due to COVID and reopening, it was a difficult time to apply because there was so many changes and anything regarding the future of the store was uncertain. So I didn’t hear back for two months. Then, I went back in around mid-August to submit another application and to express my interest still. I received a call back later the same day to come in for an interview with two mates that weekend. The interview went well and a few days went by and I got a call for the final interview with the captain. Went well and then received a call a few days later that I got the job!!!

It's two to three interviews, the final with the Captain (or highest manager) of the store. The interviews are largely to get to know your personality and how well you would do at customer service.
The interview process was absolutely wonderful! I didn't feel stressed or nervous and it felt like I was just chatting with a friend! Trader Joes is a great company and the interview was great.

Very chill, asked things a lot of job interviews don't, more personal down to earth questions. Made me feel very comfortable. Professional but also cool vibes from everyone who interviewed me. Went to one interview with mates and another with the captain.
