Was recruited on campus. Did one on one campus interview and was invited to Portland, OR for more interviews. Had only two 15 minute interviews and then there was a 30 minute panel interview for the next day. I did not qualify for that interview. Job wasn't quite what I thought it was going to be. I thought it was more of a consulting position but it was more of a "help the dealers execute their ideas" type of position. They emphasized that you have to move at the drop of a hat. Each relocation gives you $10k. Interview questions were very open format, I think they were looking more for a personality than actual skills. Rumors spread that the pay started at 43k which is very low for LA. Elaborate process all for 2 15 minute interviews. Gave a good presentation to describe the role, while in Portland. Said they'd reimburse all costs but then gave limits after the fact, so that was kinda unfair. They expect you to be at Toyota for a long time. Don't tell them you plan on starting your own business or anything like that.
