      Entrevista

      Straightforward. Phone interview, then interview in person with floor sales manager and another sales manager. The hiring process was reasonably quick, and then you worked under a broker for a year, making no commission, just a flat salary. The guys at the top hold all the good customers, making it difficult to find customers who still need to get a broker with the company. Sales practices weren't the best and felt slimy and questionable, but you did as your training broker told you. Worked with a lot of folks straight out of high school with a pulse.

      Complete waste of time.. I had four long interviews with this company, went in for a shadow day, had to do a powerpoint assessment to show my understanding of logistics, as well as go into the office to take three tests (geography, company knowledge test, and a logistics math test- all of which I passed with flying colors), the two week period that I was interviewing the recruiter had texted me several times telling me how everyone loved me, that I am the perfect candidate for the position with my strong sales and entrepreneur background and how they are excited to have me on board- then after the fourth interview I never heard back. I guess they didn't even have the decency to email me letting me know they went with someone else for the position. During the fourth and final interview the hiring manager mentioned majority of the sales account executives in the office get to the office at 4am and do not leave until 6-7pm daily, said this was not a requirement but they strongly advise you to work these hours.

      What do you know about logistics, what do you know about TQL, tell me about yourself and your work history, are you willing to work OT, asked several sales related questions such as how would you handle constant rejection and constant deals falling through at work, what is going to get you out of bed every morning to come into work and not give up?
