      Entrevista

      1. Quick chat talking about the job and its duties. Definitely got a good reading of what working there would be like. 2. 60 minute live code test to create a Trello clone. Felt super rushed to complete a set of tasks which would've required more time to complete. Wasn't a very comfortable experience to have several people silently watching me code for an hour (I figured it would be more of a pair programming thing). 3. 30 minute interview with Frontend team. They were all nice and were all super cool to talk to. It was more of a conversational interview. No problems here. 4. 30 minute interview with Backend team. Wow this one felt more like a police interrogation. My entire career was under a magnifying glass. They seemed to think personal projects are of lesser value compared to professional work, to which I heavily disagree. Personal projects are great learning experiences and allows developers to target their weaknesses. They also seemed to care whether or not I got paid for my personal projects which was also very strange as I do not understand the relevance. Whether software is free or paid does not devalue the work or quality put into the project. There was no pleasing the interviewers here and I was left mentally exhausted (as anybody would be in an interrogation-esque style interview). Overall the interview process wasn't very good. I was mentally exhausted after the 2nd and 4th interviews. The 4th one being really really bad.
