I applied on the website. The automated email they send right away said “We promise that it's not floating around in the cyber abyss. It has safely landed in our applicant tracking system. We try to review applications as quickly as possible.”. But it is precisely what happened - my application was in the cyber abyss for 7 weeks, then the recruiter scheduled a call only to move it last minute “due to a meeting”. When we made the call a few days later, she was late, barely tried to explain anything meaningful, and finished the call 15 minutes after, in a rushed manner. Even though I brought up some very relevant points about me being a developer of a POS system from scratch in the past, and how impressed I was with the communication between toasters on LinkedIn. Any attempt to follow up was ghosted. This is THE worst candidate experience I had in all my 15 years in Tech. To the extent that I felt motivated to go and leave this review everywhere I could. Rest assured, I’ll also be an active advocate of NOT applying or working at this bodyshop whenever whoever asks. Such companies must be removed from the market.
