I was contacted through one phone interview and was offered the position a few days later. The process is very quick and I was mostly asked personality questions seeing as they do not hire based on skill solely interest in working in media and being cool with doing "not so fun" tasks like cleaning up as an intern. Obviously for other positions, the editors are highly skilled.
