I had FOUR interviews for this role before being told they were “going with another candidate.” Everyone I met with seemed really nice, engaged and smart except for the last person I met with, which is why I wasn’t shocked when HR told me they were cutting me from their insanely long selection process. The last woman I met with (fourth interview) seemed totally uninterested in talking to me from the start and didn’t ask me one single question on our call. I had questions prepared to ask her, and she gave the expected/standard answers, but I left in total shock that she didn’t ask me literally any questions. After I got the email rejection a week later from HR, I asked for feedback and got ghosted. I followed up again and got no response. I feel like a i dodged a big bullet here, which is a bummer cause I was really excited about the role and really enjoyed the other three people I met with.
