There are two technical rounds and last round for negotiation.
Technical rounds were good and we can get to learn and very decent interviewers as they are building a new core team.
First round had questions based on logics and algorithms, spring, core Java based. Cleared the round.
Second round was more of a discussion in terms of technicala nd managerial aspects with CTO. He will grill to check if you are good at concepts. My interview was kind of going down but probably the good nature from CTO helped me take the level back up again.
Last was negotiation in which the recruiters are not involved and they are comparatively professional than their main HR. the main HR will give the figures very less compared to your expectations. I already kept my bar less because of the good profile and he tried to bring me lower than that.
I still tried to make that work out by asking if remote wfh is eligible or not for which he said he will check with management but never responded back. I only had to reach him out every single time for the discussion conclusions. After that, i lost hopes of getting any calls on clarifications of my ask.
I think a no would have served the purpose. Overall, a good experience was turned to a bad one. Although, i can't deny that the good people who were involved in my process were helpful and decent excluding the main HR.
