First, Bytedance contacted me via phone call for a screening. Then after 2 weeks, Tiktok sent me an email for the first phase of interview and hours after they sent an email again for the second interview which has almost the same type of questions with the first one but there were situational types too. After that, told me to wait for the Bytedance employee that handles my application. After a week of waiting, employee from Bytedance texted me stating that the recruitment for the position was put on hold and they’re introducing me to a new position that they think I’m qualified for due to my experience. Plus that position needs to be onboarded by next month so its more immediate than the CM one and will gladly arrange me 1-2 interviews if I’m interested. Their application process is really slow and I tried texting and emailing the said person but I still didn’t get any updates regarding my applications.
