I got contacted by a TikTok recruiter on LinkedIn for an « open discussion » about joining their growth marketing team. The HR manager gave me no context and I only had one single interview with the manager, through zoom. I didn’t know why I was here, what role it was about, I asked for more context / background but didn’t get any. Eventually, the interview ended half way and I never got contacted again. It’s been 3 months. Maybe it’s related to TikTok being in trouble in the US? Anyway, it seemed like really bad practice.

Interview process had a lot of steps, which were spread over a number of employees across different timezones. This made organising the meetings difficult and eventually I never heard back from them after my third interview.
