I had a really fantastic and totally seamless recruitment process with TikTok. My recruiter was very engaged and responsive throughout the entire process and (I'm used to overly enthusiastic and chipper recruiters who feel fake and like they're just going through the motions and TikTok was not like that) and it was a good balance of letting me interview the company as much as they were interviewing me. The interview was a 3-step process of 1:1s with the hiring manager, recruiter, and then a final round of a presentation with 5 1:1s. Everyone was easy to talk to and behavioral questions didn't feel forced or aggressive. I also felt that everyone was very transparent and open about expected office hours and how fast-paced TikTok is so there wouldn't be any surprises. After I got the offer the recruiter was very flexible and understanding about letting me continue my interviews elsewhere. The entire process took about 1 month and I was happy to accept the position!
