One phone interview to ask about my background, one video call with the guy who wrote the job ad. So far everybody was very happy and I next interviewed over VC with someone over in China, where it seemed as though the interviewer had been reading from a completely different job description. Whereas before, questions were on live streaming workflows and experience working with engineers and UX design, suddenly I was fielding questions on more general business management and marketing strategies and budgets. Quite a let down. It'd be nice if they could be consistent on what they actually expect from candidates.
