Was initially approached by an HR recruiter, and had a relaxed initial chat. We set up a call with the data engineering team for an introduction/technical assessment.
On the into/tech assessment the panel was rather curt, not even bothering to do full introductions. We dove straight into a SQL test. After reading through the initial problem statement, I began to sketch out my code, and before I could even run anything, the lead guy told me the syntax was wrong and they wouldn't be continuing (it wasn't even anything crazy, the code would work in SQL Server, but not Postgres - oops?).
Two weeks later I was approached by another HR recruiter (both had internal email addresses) which just shows they're not even paying attention.
