Seemed most concerned about finding someone to fit in approved salary range at this point, which was on the low end for the requested experience. Face to face with 2 company employees in the office for 2 hours. They wanted me to walk them through every job I ever had so they could "see if I would fit in". As I talked, they jumped in with questions her and there. This is a small, but successful, company acquired by a larger company. Cultural fit into a small startup environment seemed to be the most important thing for these interviewers vs. understanding how to deal in a large company bureaucracy. At the closing, I had to interject to ask if I were able to ask any questions. They did not seem to have intended to include my questions to them as part of this 2 hour session. No contact from the company after the face to face. I decided not to pursue any feedback from their HR.
