The first interview was a no-show on their end. Can happen. Understandable. The first interview (2nd time around) was an hour with the prospective hiring manager. Pleasant guy. The 3rd interview was an hour-long live coding interview with a senior engineer. Also, very pleasant. The 4th was an hour-long code refactoring exercise with two engineers. The 5th interview was a 45-min cultural interview with two engineers. The 6th interview was an hour-long Systems Design interview with a senior engineer. The 7th interview was a 45-min demo of their system with one engineer and one designer. The 8th interview was a 15-minutes wrap-up with the VP in which he seemed very interested in my feedback on the process. The 4th interview through the 8th took place on a Friday. Then they sent the 120-page hiring package (which I have read in its entirety). I was promised to hear back the following Tuesday at the latest. I didn't hear back. I reached out the following Wednesday. I received a response that I'll get an update later that day. I never heard back. All-in-all it was a positive interview experience, up until the moment that I never heard back, not even an update.
