Wastage of time, it was clear from the very beginning they already had another candidate, and they wanted just to know on which salary I was, typical of companies who try to low ball new hirings. Ghosted with the 'I will be in touch next week' phrase. Unpleasant and unprofessional.

Entrevista
I applied on the website. They reached out to schedule and intro call, the usual Ashby process. Unfortunately, the experience following that with the recruiter was probably the most unprofessional I've encountered in my career.
The recruiter did not show up to our first scheduled timeslot. We rescheduled twice after that, on one occasion they cancelled with less than 30 minutes' notice; on another they cancelled a morning call at midnight the night before. Throughout this back-and-forth I sent 6–7 emails asking for confirmation of attendance to avoid wasting both of our time, none were replied to.
We finally managed to schedule the intro after four attempts, which was positive. Following that the recruiter disappeared and I gave up trying to chase them.

Several rounds of interview. The first were online. Friendly and open interviewers. Recruiters kept in touch regularly. Whole process was smooth and quick. It was a great signal of the working style ahead.
