Very impressed with the process. First was a high-level phone screen from the HR Mgr. Then I talked to two peers (mid-level mgrs) via Skype (a first for me - very nice). Then I talked to senior leadership and ownership, again via Skype. Then they flew me in to meet with the Dev team, the persons who'd be reporting to me, HR, and those I'd Skype'd with (a full and productive day to be sure). I also had a chance to tour the office and actually have lunch with most of the company (they cater in lunch every other Friday and I happened to be there one of those Fridays) - that's what sealed the deal for me. Everyone was very welcoming and personable and the office as a whole had a very nice vibe. A comfortable work atmosphere, a personable, collaborative culture, and solid leadership are musts for me - and this place had it all. The technology is sound, the market is fertile, leadership and ownership are focused and committed, and the vision and road map are ambitious but not overly aggressive or overreaching. Great fit.
