This was the most bizarre, uncomfortable interview of my life. They have two people interview you at once and ask you stupid “competency-based questions” like “give an example of a time you had to make a snap decision and how you came to make that decision.” If you don’t give an answer they exactly like one they had in mind, they badger you until you do. It honestly felt like I was being bullied. When we got to the case study, and I was confused about something (because they barely explain what they wanted me to do) they seemed to get incredibly frustrated and hostile. They said they wanted it to be a fun interview; well holding a person for two hours and asking them questions from a packet while writing down responses, is not fun.

I just had a call from HR. They started with an English ability test, followed by some behavioral questions. Then we discussed parts of the job description and the incentive structure. Eventually, I felt it wasn’t a good fit and was turned off by the mismatch.
