There is a specific questionnaire and a sample writing test. Then it is an easy phone call. Write an intro less than 250 words for a top ten list on something entertainment related. Specify which areas you are most interested in contributing: food, movies, tv, music, books, celebrity, interviews, events, fashion, etc. You have to submit clean copy in order to write with them, but they are happy to help and if working with photos is not your strong suit, they will teach you. This is a good place for newbies as well as veterans.
