Three interviews with different teams. No feedback or information after interviews. Can sometimes wait months to hear anything at all. Not equitable. Does not promote diversity. Makes your candidates feel cruddy.

      Entrevista

Lengthy interview process. Several weeks after applying, heard back for a phone screening. Six weeks and five interviews later - including an assignment related to the role - received an offer. Job description benefits lists, "Comprehensive health insurance (we pay 100% of your premiums for medical, dental, and life), including gender affirmation surgery" but this is only for individual insurance, dependents are NOT covered.

Grab a coffee and get comfortable because this is a long review! I applied for this position so long ago I completely forgot about it until one day I received an email from a recruiter at The Trevor Project. To keep this part short, I first had a 30-minute phone interview with the recruiter and then I was expected to complete two assignments before the second interview. I did the assignments, I sent them over, and I met two guys via Google Meet. All of that went well so far. Then the third interview happened with the Director and it was a disaster. We started off on the wrong foot because I was late to the interview due to tech issues. Unfortunately, by the time we figured it out I was 10 minutes late to the interview, and I could tell the Director was unimpressed by me. She passive aggressively kept repeating how she's now going to be "late to the rest of the interviews because the candidates are scheduled back-to-back". I felt anxious thereon after. Her body language and facial expressions made it so obvious she didn't want to talk to me. At first, she asked generic questions I've heard before but she then moved on to patronizing questions that felt like she was belittling me and my work experience. I felt attacked the entire time with her bizarre questions and condescending tone. I left the interview feeling so small I withdrew my application. If this is what upper management is like I don't want it. If you have a shred of dignity and respect do yourself a favor and avoid this organization like the plague.
