I applied on the website and was invited for a phone interview the next morning. I got asked details of my PhD work with focus on applications. Then I was asked an "everyday physics" question which I worked out a vague answer for but once I'd done that I was asked to find another way of solving the problem which I failed to do. The interviewer was very friendly and was positive about my research but it was a little awkward trying to find the solution to a problem while on the phone.
