The recruiter selected my resume from Monster.com. Day 1. The phone interview: 2-3 minutes establish candidate authenticity and interest to have a 1:1 interview, and 2-3 minutes presentation of company, and answering several clarification questions I had. Day 2: I was called to schedule a 1:1 interview Day 3: The 1:1 turned out to be a 1:2 (that is, one of me and 2 of them) The interview began with a more detailed presentation of the position/company then straight into questions 1. Tell us a bit about you (meaning: a verbal professional bio and not a life/education history) 2. Several questions about some of the tasks/processes in past jobs 3. Several questions about the clients/services I worked with in past jobs 4. A Customer Service related "what if?" scenario. The hiring manager allotted time for me to pose my own questions. 1. Can I see the organizational chart or reporting hierarchy? (Verbal is fine but I wanted to see it on paper (for me it was an excellent springboard for several operational, and communication flow, questions). 2. What do you expect from this employee (me) in 3, 6 and 12 months?
