I was honestly shocked at how bad the interview experience was, considering it's something I would have considered my dream job. Firstly, the interview was scheduled for 6:30 PM my time, which already speaks volumes about how much they respect the candidates. There was no greeting or chitchat at the beginning of the interview; instead, we jumped straight into the coding test. I wouldn't describe the interviewer as encouraging or friendly. Whenever they spotted something in the code, they would call it out impatiently, making me feel stupid and even more nervous. After the coding test, there were regular business case questions, but there was no inquiry into my motivations or interest, either professionally or personally. The entire interview process felt extremely scripted, leaving me feeling like I was talking to an AI. Despite my disappointment with the interview experience, I have no doubt that the company itself is great. Being a fan of Pokemon, one of my favorite IPs, I'm sure the employees there must enjoy their work. However, the interview experience has definitely dampened my enthusiasm for working there. Nonetheless, I still wish the company continued success!

First round interview was a standard intro phone call. While the interview itself was fine, when I did not continue further in the process I requested feedback and was refused any. This is not positive for cultivating talent and I wouldn't want to interview here again in the future.
