      Entrevista

I applied through LinkedIn and received an email from the CEO later that day asking to schedule a call. After our initial conversation, we exchanged a few follow-up emails. The next day, the Vice President contacted me and invited me to an in-person interview. The in-person interview lasted close to two hours. At times, the conversation felt informal and less structured than I expected, and I left without a clear understanding of the day-to-day responsibilities of the role. During the interview, there were several unrelated and inappropriate conversations, which made it difficult to stay focused on the position itself. Throughout the process, both the CEO and Vice President asked multiple times whether I preferred part-time or full-time work. The job posting listed the role as part-time, and I expressed that I was comfortable with that while also being open to full-time if needed. Overall, it was a unique interview experience.

      Entrevista

I applied on LinkedIn in 2018. The interview process consisted of a brief phone call, then a meeting in person in the office with John and one of his associates. It seemed like they wanted someone to act not only as an Admin but also take the role of IT, educating older staff on technology and revamping systems so that the business could reach longer term goals. About halfway through the interview I knew I wasn't going to be comfortable as the in-house "computer kid" and was just going through the motions to get out of there. This discomfort was solidified when John asked me how old I was and basically insinuated that someone had to be supporting me in order for me to have moved to California. His associate continued to follow up by phone and email to ask me to fill out a formal application (which I always find redundant and silly) but I removed myself from consideration.

      Pregunta 1

I know I'm not supposed to ask this but how old are you? And California is expensive, so how are you living here?
