I had an initial screening interview with HRBP and then an in-person interview with two hiring managers. I had the opportunity to describe my experience and they asked specific questions on my background and behavioral with supporting examples. Despite the fact that I had an in-person interview, the rejection email was general, impersonal and aspecific. When I asked for further clarification, they disappeared. Moreover, they completely disregarded the fact that I had to plan the visit to their office in advance (obviously they were aware of my situation) and they confirmed the interview two days before.
