Highly Unprofessional:
I applied for the position at the start of 2021.
I did not hear a response until three months later. I was thrilled to receive an unexpected email, albeit automated, asking for an initial 30-minute video interview. I understand the COVID pandemic has prolonged the hiring cycle, so I did not hold it against them.
I picked a time on their Calendly link they attached and sent two follow up emails to confirm the time.
No response. First yellow flag, but I brushed it off. I gave them the benefit of the doubt of being extremely busy.
On the day of the video interview, I was early, dressed up, and prepared for the first interview. No one showed up. Zoom notification said the interviewer was in another meeting. I sent two emails - one during the time slot and the second indicating if they had to reschedule to let me know what times worked for them. I CC'ed another TJC employee on the email who was attached to the first automated email.
No response.
Three weeks later, I get an automated email saying I was not selected for the position.
I'm disappointed and frustrated by the lack of professionalism and diligence showed by the Justice Collective. Their organization to advance DEI is absolutely meaningful and critical, but it's tarnished by their unprofessionalism.
