Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en The How Skills (Seattle, WA)

      Entrevista

There were about 3 interviews that were pretty straightforward. I thought the first two interviews asked pretty relevant questions to my skillset and the role itself. During the last interview, there was a role-play. They did give me somewhat of an idea of what the role play would be about. In all fairness, I knew the role play wasn't going to be easy, and should be an accurate reflection of the day to day of what this role would entail. With that being said, I felt like my role play had more to do with a workplace discriminating against a worker with disabilities vs a display of me using my skills to help a client solve a problem. It just felt like this would've gone beyond my scope of duties, and felt irrelevant to the role. I did a role play with the founder of the company. During this role play (her role playing as the client) she would mention that her boss wouldn't give her more time on projects even though that's a workplace accommodation, and that her boss would basically just call her incompetent. To me this role play sounds like more of an HR issue vs an issue that an Executive Functioning Coach could solve. Again, I was not expecting the role play to be easy and straight forward, but I was at least hoping for it to be relevant to the position. In addition to this, at the end of the interview the founder asked me if I had any questions which is normal practice. I actually had a lot of questions about the job, and we even had plenty of scheduled time left in the interview. I got through about 2 questions, and the founder just stopped me there, and the interview ended pretty abruptly there. While I did end up finding a job that better suited my needs, and I do think the company has a good mission, this irrelevant role play and the founder just cutting me off after 2 questions really left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't mind that I may have not been the best fit for the role, and I can take criticism. I did expect relevancy in the role play and respect for my questions and allotted time during this interview.

      Preguntas de entrevista [1]

      Pregunta 1

Role play: Imagine you're meeting with a Program Manager named Emily. She is a program manager who is responsible for various tasks such as operations, forward movement, planning stakeholders, meeting deadlines, and collaborating with others. Emily shared that she is currently working on a new project that she finds challenging to manage due to the amount of information she needs to process.
