I got the interview with Home Depot for this position through a recruiting company (Insight Global). I had a phone call screening through them and then a 30-minute interview with the two people I'd be reporting to. Everything was done remotely, as this was a remote role. The interview was alright, they didn't really interact with me much, moreso each other. It was not a naturally flowing conversation, it seemed more like they had already decided I wasn't a good fit from the start and just interviewed me as a formality and because I had reached out to the recruiter. Most of anything I said/ answered was met with dead silence. I asked what project I could potentially be working on (which I thought was a normal question to ask for a project management role), and I was told that they weren't working on anything right now and that they were conducting more interviews over the next 5-6 days. At that point, I was like, noted. This was a waste of my time. They said they'd get back to me with feedback in a few days it's been over 3 weeks and I haven't heard back from a single person, no feedback, no rejection, or anything. Their silence was enough. Don't call people in for interviews, if we never had a chance from the beginning.
