The interview was a basic interview. I took some of my own questions with me to ask when they asked if I had any questions. It took a few months before I was contacted for the phone interview and was scheduled immediately after completing the phone interview to attend an in person interview.
There was another Home Depot employee in the office taking notes of my responses, I believe?
I'm glad I read the interview questions posted on here before hand, I'd been at a loss for answering a couple of their questions.

You are helping a customer locate a type/brand of hammer you've never heard of. Another customer approaches you and appears angry, they want to purchase a more expensive item, how do you handle them both?
Q: You are helping a customer in the lumber department find building materials for a project. After minutes the customer tells you they must be leaving soon. What do your do?

One on one, asking simple job qualifications questions and seeking customer priority appreciation; if the associate is willing to stand for very long periods of time, lifting heavy product, fast paced transactions and clear, loud conversations and handling money.

One of the hardest interviews ive ever had. It wasnt like the last home depot job interview i had a couple years ago. With this one i was asked a ton of questions and scenarios and she wrote down all my answers and scored it i think. Ughhh. And she made me meet everyone before i was even hired. I felt so much pressure to accept the offer after that. With my other HD job in 2023 i was just asked about my availability so thats what i was expecting. I wasnt prepared for like 20 questions.

Entrevista
I applied online, filled out a short questionnaire, and then had an in-person interview. There was very little discussed in the interview, they just mostly asked me about my availability. It was an easy experience.
