online application, phone call from corporate, followed by an in-store interview with an ASM. Very easy process and I was hired on the spot. Have not actually heard of anyone NOT getting hired right away. They should probably try to be a little bit more selective. It was nice, however, knowing right away that I was offered the job, however, because it gave the stability in knowing I have a job.

In the interview process, you must come 15 minutes early and have a proper I.D, you must wear casual or appropriate clothing. You must answer questions truthfully about your personal info and availability.

Ask simple questions in regards to customer service and some math. This was almost 5 years ago. The Home Depot is a good company to work for. They have done well with associates with covid 19.

After submitting an application, I received an email to schedule an interview at the store. Straightforward, simple questions, offered job on the spot. They have a sheet with a few questions they have to ask, including tell me about yourself
