After an initial phone screen with HR I was called in for a face to face interview with HR and the CFO. I followed up a week or two later with HR as I hadn't heard back and was told due to summer vacations they were delayed in scheduling the next round of interviews. That was the last communication I had with them. In my 25 year professional career this was the first and only time an organization failed to simply communicate that I wasn't chosen for a position after being invited in for an interview . That to me is a simple and courteous thing to do and the fact that it wasn't done indicates something about this company.
