I’ve never experienced a recruitment process this impersonal.
The process took nearly three months of screening rounds before I was able to speak to a recruiter or any human contact. After finally progressing, I was asked to prepare and present a business case and complete an assessment on the same day. I spent close to three hours in total on-site.
After that, I waited another month, only to receive an automated rejection email with no option to reply. I then contacted the recruitment team directly to request feedback so I could learn from the experience, but I never received a response.
I understand this is a large, established company, but after months of time and effort from candidates, basic communication and respect should be the minimum.
