Interview was done over the phone. Interviewer was very thorough, and gave opportunity to talk about specifics of experience that there wasn't room for on my resume. Seemed genuinely concerned with making sure everyone on staff fit in with the newsroom culture and city, including local weather, events and outdoor recreation opportunities. There were no "gotcha" questions, and was very conversational. An editing test was required, but could be done in person or online.
