Just getting a reply is pulling teeth. Called out a recruiter on LinkedIn and that finally got the ball rolling. I was honestly overqualified for the role, and the questions were incredibly generic. Got through the initial screening, and a video interview. Had another phone interview with the initial recruiter and thought things were going well. Was scheduled for yet another interview with another recruiter. All previous conversations matched up well in terms of qualifications and compensation match. Got soft ghosted after the fourth interview and after follow up, got an email stating I wasn't selected with no reason as to why. Noticed multiple positions still being posted on job boards in other nearby towns. Reached out to the original recruiter and asked if I might be considered for one of the other openings. I received an insane reply that I couldn't reply for a full calendar year!! What?! Still see many job board postings with "urgently hiring" and am completely mystified about the horrible experience and what the game is. I would advise others to avoid The Connor Group.
