A recruiter had reached out to me via LinkedIn. He set up a time to call me. We talked about the position and he said he was really impressed with me and that he thought I'd make a great fit. He set up a phone screening. I did the phone screening, which was odd. The lady called me and said she couldn't rephrase any questions, but she could repeat them and only allowed me to answer with very simple answers and I wasn't allowed to elaborate. She did the screening. The next day my recruiter called me and said I nailed the screening and scored really high and that the next step was a Zoom interview. He set up a Zoom interview for the following week. In the mean time, I researched TCG and found some really awful reviews. I didn't want to let the negativity get to me, but after my experience I understand why. I also researched employees on LinkedIn and noticed a pattern that they were ALL beautiful and over the top good-looking. I understand you wanting a face to your brand, but that's not what success is all about. I resumed the interview process and interviewed with a woman on Zoom. I immediately could tell that she wasn't really interested in anything I had to say. I continued through the interview and explained all of my incredible sales successes and provided specific numbers and results. She told me I'd hear back regarding next steps by Wednesday afternoon. Wednesday passed and I still hadn't heard anything so I reached out to my recruiter on LinkedIn. He left me on read. The following day I received a generic email informing me that they decided to go in another direction. TCG really lead me on to believe that I was going to be chosen for the position and got my hopes out, only to send me a generic email like I was chopped liver. I felt very offended and reached out again only to find out that someone had "better skills" than me. TCG will lead you onto believe you're the PERFECT fit and get you so hyped up, only to choose someone prettier, skinnier or blonder. Don't even waste your time applying here unless you're a super model. Also, read the reviews and their replies to interview feedback on here how extremely rude and defensive they are. Don't be sucked in by their misleading posts, which by the way said "Store manager" online but was actually for a property manager. Really do your research and stay away from this waste of time and energy.
