Office was a bit of a mess when I went in and I had to stand as I waited as the chairs were covered in stuff. The interview was very short and I wasn't asked any questions aside from "talk me through your CV". Afterwards I was told I would be contacted after the job closed. Once it closed I followed up and was told I would be contacted by the end of the week but I never heard anything. I think once you have an interview you should definitely be phoned or at the very least emailed to be told you were not the successful candidate.
